Worshipping Under Southern Skies: Rediscovering the Beauty of the Mass was commissioned by the New Zealand Catholic Bishops’ Conference.
This catechesis has been prepared by the National Liturgy Commission, an agency of the New Zealand Catholic Bishops’ Conference.
In turn, the Commission appointed a Working Party to oversee all aspects of the project.
The Working Party comprises:
- Louise Campbell - Member of the National Liturgy Commission, Diocese of Auckland Representative
- Elsie Flay - Member of the National Liturgy Commission, RCIA Network Representative
- Fr Trevor Murray - Member of the National Liturgy Commission, Secretary
- Fr John Roberts - Member of the National Liturgy Commission, Diocese of Palmerston North Representative
One of the first tasks of the Working Party was to appoint:
- Fr John O’Connor (chief writer) Diocese of Christchurch
- Dr Anna Thompson (co-editor with the Working Party) Archdiocese of Wellington Representative.
