‘In the beginning God created …’ (Gen 1: 1).

From this first moment, the creative action of God has shaped our earth and all that lives.

The ultimate in God’s creative activity was the formation of men and women in the divine image. Even before we came into being, we were carried in the mind and heart of God (Ps 139).

In the fullness of time God sent His Son. In Jesus, God has come to us. In Jesus, God walks with us. In Jesus, God’s creative action is renewed. In the Mass Jesus comes to us again.

In the Eucharist Jesus comes into us, to dwell in us. In this event, in the midst of our unworthiness, we become once again the daughters and sons of God.

And so the divine life is forever unfolding anew in our midst.

Re: In the beginning

The reflective booklet is a great resource. We've been referring to it for occasional prayer, and it encapsulates so much of Module One into concise reflections... looking forward to the Module Two version!
